1. What kind of camera do they require?
Students can take this course with a iPhohe, iPad or iPod. While this class will be taught with and focus on photography with an iPhone, students with an Android device are welcome to join with the understanding that the features on their device may differ or not exist. However the basis of focus and photo composition remain the same no matter what camera you use.
2. Is there any online interaction between students and the instructor?
Yes, this is a 75 minute online interactive class. Kids will receive the link for the Zoom meeting room before the class takes place. There will be lots of interaction between the instructor and students during the class.
3. What will kids learn?
By the end of the course, kids will have the knowledge and ability to use their device indoors and outdoors in various lighting situations. They will follow along with their devide and practice using these new skills along with the teacher.

4. What is the ideal age for this course?
The ideal age for this iPhonegraphy course is 12 & up. There is also a iPhonegraphy class for 7-11 years old on Tuesday, December 15th and January 25th.
5. Are there any additional resources from the class?
Kids will receive access to a recording of the class for two weeks after. They will also receive a reference sheet they can print off for your future use.
Josie’s passion with Art started on paper at the age of 2 and continues to intertwine in her everyday life. Her love for drawing, sculpture and photography earned her a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Sculpture and Photography and a Masters of Fine Arts Graduate Degree in Photography.
Her extensive experience in photography has been demonstrated in an endless portfolio of hundreds of portraits and weddings spanning 23 years of professional photography experience. Josie has shared her love for photography, not only creatively but by the way of instruction at the University of Calgary, Calgary Arts Academy and privately as an Instructor of Film and Digital photography.
Josie’s eye for detail, love and beauty and professional integrity to make all photographic journeys packed full of memories that are also a delightful treat for the eyes . As a mother of 2 wonderful boys, she loves capturing the moment and believes a good portrait should not only show personality but must also stir up emotions by making you laugh, cry and smile all in one breath.
